A friend, poet, and community activist.

Send Me Away
Run away.
I have done something wrong.
Glass box for display.
Windows so strong.
I have a brother
Who ran away
He is like no other
He was sent away
Autism
An invisible disability
Trapped within your own mind creation
Without curability
And debilitating, even with success
The extremes of brilliance and ignorance
An amalgam of distress
He tried and failed, without a difference
He can’t make sense out of basic common sense
And can you imagine how hard it could be
For me
When your brother’s at an RTC?
When he just wants to be free
From all the chaos he has incited
And all the people who’ve remarked
Saying how he’s benighted
For all the fighting he has sparked.
There’s nothing left to do
There’s nothing left to say
I now know what is true
Just send me away
